    Nashville, TN – Following the seven-week #1 success of Carrie Underwood’s GRAMMY®-nominated smash “Something in the Water” atop Billboard’s airplay/sales/streaming-based Hot Country Songs chart, the anticipation is already building for “Little Toy Guns,” the second single from her 25-song Greatest Hits: Decade #1.

    Penned by Underwood, Chris DeStefano, and Hillary Lindsey, “Little Toy Guns” will be delivered to country radio digitally at 10 AM this Friday, January 30, for an official airplay impact date of February 17.

    Also this Friday, the music video for “Little Toy Guns” will make its world premiere exclusively on Underwood’s Facebook page Facebook.com/CarrieUnderwood at 10 AM CT.

    Right now, fans can visit her Facebook page to view a special trailer for the music video.

    In anticipation of the Friday premiere, E! News will preview “Little Toy Guns” with a first-look video feature in their episode airing Thursday, January 29, at 6 PM CT (re-airing at 10 PM CT).

    The video for “Little Toy Guns” was directed by PR Brown and produced by Steve Lamar for Lamar Bros TV.

    “Little Toy Guns” is from Underwood’s chart-topping new album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1. Released December 9, the already-RIAA-Gold-certified collection also includes 18 of her previous #1 hits, together with four songs in never-before-released versions, as well as the smash first single, “Something in the Water.”

    In addition to the seven-week #1 success of “Something in the Water” on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, which registers airplay, sales, and streaming, the song has won acclaim from fans and industry alike, recently #1 on Rolling Stone’s year-end social media readers’ poll of the “10 Best Country Songs of 2014.”

    With sales now in excess of 800,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, “Something in the Water” has also earned Underwood a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Solo Performance at the upcoming 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

    The music video for “Something in the Water” is currently in its sixth consecutive week at #1 on GAC’s fan-voted Top 20 Country Countdown.

    Super Bowl Open Features New Lyrics and Design Elements

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jan. 26, 2015 - Six-time Grammy Award-winner and multi-platinum recording artist Carrie Underwood returns to star in the special “Waiting All Day for a Super Bowl Fight” opening theme for NBC’s broadcast of Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1, 2015. Each week of the last two NFL seasons, Underwood’s performance of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” has kicked off Sunday Night Football, primetime television’s No. 1 program.

    The opening theme for NBC’s coverage of Super Bowl XLIX will feature new elements, including lyrics featuring the AFC champion New England Patriots and NFC champion Seattle Seahawks, and a special set design.

    “I’m so honored to again be a part of the Super Bowl, this time joining NBC Sports in helping kick everything off! I can’t wait to watch the game!,” says Underwood.

    NBC will broadcast Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, Feb. 1 from Glendale, Ariz. Coverage kicks off at Noon ET.

    NASHVILLE – Some of the most powerful and emotionally moving voices in music come together to celebrate the holidays on “CMA Country Christmas,” which tapes in front of a live audience Friday, Nov. 7 (7:30 PM/CT), at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The special, which features Jennifer Nettles hosting for the fifth year, airs this holiday season on the ABC Television Network.

    Artists scheduled to perform and celebrate the season include Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Sara Evans, Lucy Hale, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Idina Menzel, Nettles, LeAnn Rimes, Michael W. Smith, and Carrie Underwood.

    “The taping for ‘CMA Country Christmas’ is a jump-start for the holiday season and has become a family tradition for many Nashville residents,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “Adding to the celebration is our annual toy drive, which provides new toys for children in need, shining a spotlight on a worthy endeavor in a way that reflects the values and giving nature of our artists, the industry, and this city.”

    For the third year, audience members are being encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the taping to help make the holidays brighter for Nashville area children. The Nashville-based non-profit group Generosity will have volunteers on site with specially marked bins to collect toys beginning at 5:00 PM/CT on Nov. 7. In 2013, the group collected more than 5,000 toys.

    “Our artist community is extremely generous and so are our fans,” Trahern said. “It is our goal to make sure no child goes without a present this Christmas and we are grateful to our partners at Generosity for helping to make this a dream come true for children in Nashville.”

    Underwood Reveals Album Information Exclusively on NBC’s Today Show and Announces Album’s First Single, “Something in the Water”

    Nashville, TN – Superstar and six-time GRAMMY® winner Carrie Underwood appeared on NBC’s Today show this morning, where she revealed exclusively that she’ll release her first collection of hits, titled Greatest Hits: Decade #1, on December 9. With a final track listing to be announced, the album will draw from Underwood’s 18 #1 singles to date, while also featuring new material, kicked off by the first single, “Something in the Water.” Officially impacting country radio on October 6, “Something in the Water” will be available to stations in time to coincide with the digital single’s retail release on Monday, September 29.

    For Underwood, the album is not only a career milestone, but also a perfect way to be able to share some new songs with fans in advance of her next full studio album. She says, “I can’t believe it’s been a decade since I auditioned for American Idol. Looking back at the songs I’ve released over the years lets me relive my amazing journey. Even better I get to include new music for the fans!”

    Produced by longtime Underwood collaborator Mark Bright, and written by Underwood, Chris DeStefano, and Brett James, “Something in the Water” is a song that Carrie says was exciting even as they were writing it, and one that she hopes will touch listeners in the same way that it affects her.

    Nashville - (Dec. 2, 2014) - Carrie Underwood performed last night as part of U2’s surprise World AIDS Day (RED) event in New York City’s Times Square by personal invitation from Bono. During Carrie’s performance she was joined on stage by U2’s guitarist The Edge during her poignant song “Change” from her 2010 Play On album.

    The event was to thank America for the role it’s played in the AIDS fight. The world has reached the beginning of the end of AIDS epidemic with 13 million people having access to life-saving treatment compared to 300,000 ten years ago. Without the support of American leaders and citizens it would not have reached this point.
