  On Tuesday, June 22nd, the Music City community will unite to assist victims of the floods that ravaged Nashville and Middle Tennessee earlier this month. “NASHVILLE RISING: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery,” will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. It will feature performances by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who are spearheading the event, and numerous other artists. See below for a list of performers and special guests who have been confirmed to date. This superstar line-up will continue to grow and many additions will be announced as the event draws closer.

  "The damage that we've seen to people's homes and the effect that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable.   Provo, Utah – February 27, 2010 – America’s Freedom Festival is pleased to announce that five-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood will officially headline 2010’s Stadium of Fire on Saturday July 3rd at Brigham Young University’s LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.

  Underwood is a five-time Grammy Award winner, a member of the Grand Ole Opry, the 2009 Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year and three-time CMA and ACM Female Vocalist winner. Carrie Underwood has amassed more than 11 million in U.S. album sales since her debut CD in 2005, more than any other American Idol winner. Along the way, she has consistently broken new ground and became the first country artist in history to achieve eleven consecutive #1 singles.

  “I am really excited about being invited to Stadium of Fire’s 30th anniversary celebration! Our country has a lot to celebrate this Independence Day, and I want to do my part to make it unforgettable,” said Carrie Underwood.

  “We’re sure that this year’s Stadium of Fire will be seen by the biggest audience in our history, so we’re working hard to make it the most memorable,” said Carl Bacon, America’s Freedom Foundation trustee and senior executive producer of the event. “Carrie is a big part of that.”

  In recognition of the 30th anniversary of Stadium of Fire in 2010, tickets will be available this year for as low as $30. Traditional elements of Stadium of Fire will continue and expand, including the spectacle of the Stadium of Fire dancers, a military flyover as only Stadium of Fire does them, and the largest Stadium fireworks show in America. There will also be a special feature celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.

  For an unprecedented eighth consecutive year, the Pentagon has invited Stadium of Fire to televise the celebration to US military men and women and their families in more than 100 countries around the world.

  “We have so many spectacular surprises planned for the 2010 Stadium Fire,” said Brett Walker, this year’s Freedom Festival president. “We’ve worked diligently to make it the greatest Independence Day celebration in the country and we’re confident it will be the most outstanding show Utahns and our guests from around the nation and world have seen in years.”

  For the sixth consecutive year, the event will be created, produced and directed by the award-
  winning production team of Wayne Baruch and Chuck Gayton. “Each year they have set a higher standard of quality and excitement,” said Bacon.

  Tickets for Stadium of Fire will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 5th at 5:00pm and will be sold simultaneously online at www.byutickets.com and at the BYU Marriott Center ticket office in Provo.   NASHVILLE – (February 24, 2010) – Carrie Underwood’s appearance in a special one-off guest star role on the CBS Emmy-nominated show How I Met Your Mother will air on Monday, March 1. Underwood will appear as a new character, Tiffany, an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted, played by Josh Radnor. How I Met Your Mother airs on CBS Television, Mondays, 8:00-8:30pm ET / PT.

  How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted's best friend, Marshall, dropped the bombshell that he was going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realized that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he's sure it's love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store.   2) Visit the Events section, then
  3) Select "More Info" next to the event that you wish to attend, and
  4) Click on "I'm Going" where you will automatically be entered onto the guest list used for the Meet and Greet.
  5) Stay tuned to your email inbox to find out if you have been selected to meet Carrie!
  

  Please note clicking on the "I'm Going" button also acknowledges that 1) you have purchased tickets 2) will be attending the specified show and that 3) will be able to participate in this event. Entrants MUST have tickets to the show and be current members of the fan club in order to enter the Meet and Greet. Winners may be asked to provide specific ticket information. With limited space only a select number of lucky winners for each show will be chosen at random to meet Carrie.

  All winners will be notified via email and/or a phone call as early a week and a half prior to the show date. The email will included additional details on the events location and start time. Winners will be required to reply to their invite confirming that they are indeed still attending the show and understand all the rules.

  Additional Rules and Guidelines 1. Each member is responsible for purchasing their own admittance to the concert. You must have tickets to the show to go to the Meet & Greet, but you may apply for the Meet & Greet before tickets go on sale if it’s available to do so on the site. Meet & Greet passes do not give the member any special privileges towards parking, merchandise, etc.
  2. No one is allowed to attend the Meet and Greet unless they have been selected as a Meet and Greet winner and are above the age of 13 years of age.
  3. Each member is allowed one (1) Meet & Greet per membership year (not calendar year, we've gotta give everyone a chance! If you would like a friend/parent/spouse/child to attend the meet & greet with you, he or she will have to have their own fan club membership and will have to submit a separate meet & greet request. For members selected who are between 13 and 17 years old, ONE parent or legal guardian is permitted to accompany that chosen member.
  4. Certain shows may not allow Meet & Greet opportunities.
  5. You must bring a picture I.D. with you in order to gain access to the Meet & Greet, unless you are a child who does not have a picture I.D.
  6. Meet & Greets are non-transferable. Any member caught trying to sell their Meet & Greet pass will be permanently banned from the club.
  7. If you receive a Meet & Greet, but are unable to attend the show, you must notify the fan club two weeks prior to the show date at carrieunderwoodsupport@sparkart.com. If the fan club is not notified at least two weeks prior to the show date, not only have you forfeited your meet & greet pass for your membership year, but we will be unable to award it to someone else.
  8. Although it rarely happens, if someone forfeits their Meet & Greet or is unable to attend, the next person on the Meet & Greet list will be notified by the fan club. Please DO NOT email the fan club asking where you are on the list, as you will not receive a response."
  9. Winners will be required to confirm via email that they are attending the M&G.

  CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S HIGHLY ANTICIPATED “PLAY ON TOUR” ADDS MORE SHOWS

  Nashville – February 8, 2010 – One of country music’s most anticipated tours of 2010, the Carrie Underwood “Play On Tour,” has just announced the addition of more shows this summer due to popular demand. The “Play On Tour,” hydrated by vitaminwater®, will kick off March 11 in Reading, PA at the Sovereign Center, with special guests Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia, and is now currently slated to run through June 20 in Saskatoon, SK at the Credit Union Centre.

  Underwood’s previous tour, 2008’s highly successful “Carnival Ride Tour,” wrapped after 137 shows with over 1.2 million fans in attendance.

  Underwood is a five-time Grammy Award winner, a member of the Grand Ole Opry, the 2009 Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, and three-time CMA and ACM Female Vocalist winner. Carrie Underwood has amassed more than 11 million in U.S. album sales since her debut CD in 2005, more than any other American Idol winner. Along the way, she has consistently broken new ground and became the first country artist in history to achieve eleven consecutive #1 singles.

  Craig Morgan is new on the charts with his latest single, “This Ain’t Nothin’,” from his BNA Records album, That’s Why, which also features his recent hits, “Bonfire” and “Love Remembers.” In 2008, Morgan received one of country music’s highest honors – he was inducted into the membership of the Grand Ole Opry. Morgan has made more than 150 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, and plays over 200 sold-out concerts a year. He spent ten years on active duty in the U.S. Army before launching his music career, and makes a point to perform as often as possible at U.S. military installations both in the U.S. and abroad.

  Sons of Sylvia are currently finishing up their debut album release on 19 Recordings/Interscope Records due out in 2010. Ashley, Austin, and Adam Clark (formerly known as The Clark Brothers who won FOX’s Next Great American Band) are longtime friends of Underwood, and the band is currently featured on her new album in a powerful collaboration called “What Can I Say.”

  “Temporary Home” Video Debuts TODAY!

  Nashville, TN – Superstar and five-time GRAMMY Award winner Carrie Underwood, fresh from earning her fifth GRAMMY trophy this weekend, has yet another major hit with her heartfelt new single, “Temporary Home,” and today, the powerful video for “Temporary Home” will debut on iTunes with a two-day exclusive for purchase and download, running February 2 and 3.

  Fans can also be watching for the “Temporary Home” video when it makes its television debut on February 4 at both CMT and GAC.

  Underwood’s videos have consistently been major fan-favorites, and Carrie’s video for “Before He Cheats” ranked as the fan-voted #1 video of the decade in a recent online poll on CMT.com.

  “Temporary Home” is the second smash from Carrie’s Platinum-certified album, Play On. The album also includes her chart-topping “Cowboy Casanova,” now RIAA certified as a Platinum Digital Single, becoming Underwood’s tenth single to earn Gold, Platinum, or Multi-Platinum certification.
