How to Design a Logo?

A great logo is more than images and words, a great logo tells a story.

That’s a lot to ask of one piece of art so we’re here to help! The steps below will help you through the process of designing your logo.

Step 1: Determine the primary function of your logo. Being clear on why you need a logo and what the purpose of the logos use can guide your design.

Step 2: Think about who will be using this logo. It’s important to customize the look of your logo to appeal to other Fan Club members.

Step 3: Be inspired by but don’t copy successful/well know logos: Look at 10 to 12 examples of other logos to help give you ideas of what you like and what you want to avoid.

Step 4: Keep it simple. A successful logo should be simple, memorable, timeless, and appropriate. Keep these as goals when you are playing around with ideas.

Final Tip: Avoid too many colors, multiple fonts and layered images. A confusing or cluttered logo won’t convey a clear message and remember if there are too many visual elements in your logo, it will be difficult to process.

Remember the most important tip is to have FUN!
