  • Snow, Snow, and More Snow!!!!

    Well our winter snow storm has begun. We are expected to get 10-14 inches by Wed. evening! Then the news said that by Thurs. the temperature is going to drop like crazy with the wind chill 10-20 below zero!!!!!!!!

    Julien is excited about all of this, but the reality is that he is hoping for "NO SCHOOL"

    After this post, I think I will go to the grocery store because I do not want to be leaving the house "IF" we are going to be getting that much snow and when it will be FREEZING outside!!!!!!!!

    Could not go to Carrie's back-to-back concert at Ravinia :( Had to save for our family vacation to Disney in Florida. Julien says his daddy owes him 5 CARRIE concerts!!!!!!!

  • Ending concert year w/ Carrie!!!

    Even though I didn't win a M&G, Julien and I are still very excited because tonight we are going to see Carrie again this time in Madison, WI. This is OUR last concert for "08", what a great way to end the year!!!!!!! We saw her 3x's this year =) =) =)

    On the day of the concert Julien usually wears his fan club t-shirt to school but today he couldn't because it was picture day. So he was very upset and mad (hope his photo turns out now-lol).

    It was VERY COLD driving him to school, only 6 degrees outside!!!!!! And the roads are very icy. Just a half block up from the house a school bus slid and hit a tele phone poll. So many people were stuck and couldn't go anywhere. We just slowly trucked along and made it to school. (No problems thankfully)

    I hope the roads are ok driving to Madison. On a good day, it would take 1 1/2 hours to get there. So being that there is snow and ice, my husband said we should add another hour to our drive there tonight. (hope the highway is good)

    So THANK YOU CARRIE for a great year of fun. Hope "09" will bring more concert dates around us. Julien and I are starting "09" by seeing Brad Paisley w/Dierks Bentley on Jan. 30. That should be lots of fun.

    So sad that I didn't win a M&G w/Carrie for the Chicago Sears Centre Show Oct.3! : ( But I'm still hoping one day soon, maybe for the Madison show 12/4!!!!!! Now all Julien and I can do is to get ready for this friday's concert, we are both soooooo excited!!!!! : ) : ) We just luv Carrie xoxo

    I won a M&G (I know... not sure HOW i got so lucky! I'm still shocked!) She was amazing!

    Thanks for the post. I hope to meet you at Rockford show as well. I'm taking my 7 year old daughter Erin. Ravinia was awesome, the only thing, at the time I wasn't a FC member so I didn't know about concert until the last minute. So I found lawn tickets on ebay...I couldn't see Carrie very well as the place was packed but it was still nice hearing Carrie rock the house as usual. Julien is funny 5 Carrie concerts lol. :). My Rockford tickets are a lot better then Ravinia since I got them through pre sale Floor 2 row N..What tickets do you have? I hope to see you there.

    hey! Sorry it took me so long to reply! I actually only got lawn seats...I couldn't afford anything other then that... oh well... even if I don't get to see her, hearing her is better then nothing right? And I'm praying for a meet and greet!

    hey! Yeah I ended up buying 4 tix on the KK section on the right. My friend told me it is a small venue. She went there before and said there is no real bad seat so I took a chance. I did not want to miss the opportunity to see Carrie on stage again! Yes I love that pic of your son! I thought it was so genuine and just love to see that fans are so diversified!
