    I just got hired as a Studio Photographer at Olan Mills Portrait Studio. I start tomorrow and am SO excited! So, Carrie...if you are in need of someone to take your pictures (as you don't already have TONS of people lined up) I would be glad and honored to take your pictures! We even allow dogs in our studio, so you could even bring Ace! In all seriousness I am VERY excited though!

  • Please don't buy over the counter flea medicine!

    I bought over the counter flea medicine for my dog today. This was the first time that I have ever used over the counter medicine as I have always used what the vet recommends. Well, only a few short hours after I applied the flea medicine he started acting weird. He then became foaming out the mouth and had a hard time walking. I called the vet ASAP and also the line on the back of the box while "googling" the medication to get any information I could on it. I found out that the medication has a law suit against them and that this medicine in particular has caused the death of many dogs. PLEASE, PLEASE be careful when giving your dog, or ANY animal for that matter anything over the counter. I bought this medication at PETCO earlier today and I am just praying that my dog will be okay. He is only 4 years old and I know that you who have animals will agree that they ARE family. I just wanted to post something about this so that people are aware of what is happening to some animals.

    Hi Stephanie,

    I just wanted to thank you for your nice comments about my Carrie painting. I appreciate it. I actually have a full-time job but I do the painting and drawing on the side on a freelance basis. I became a fan of Carrie recently and thought it would be fun to post my paintings and drawings of her on my fan site here since I don't have any personal photos of her - since I haven't seen her perform live and I haven't met her - YET :). I am currently working on another one of Carrie and will post it when it's finished. BTW, your dog is cute :).
