  • My Carrie M&G 9/24/08!!

    Where do I start describing the best day of my life? It's hard to say but I'll try my best, the only thing I can say is, you had to be there to truly understand, I could cry right now just thinking about it, but here goes!

    I arrived at the arena at 5:40 pm and went straight to will call to pick up my pass, after that I met some fantastic fc members including kaylahope ( who graciously brought me a photo for Carrie to sign, bless her), maddkat, veggiegirl02, lynn_carrie, and ubu, not sure about the last 2 on their user id's but u get the picture, lol! We stood around talking for a little while until Matt came on the scene ready to escort us to our M&G with miss Carrie Underwood! We had to go outside and around the building to a big black door, where we were led in. Then Matt told us the rules and moved us around a bit, I was glad to be towards the back of the line because we all got to see Carrie interact with the people ahead of us, which was great, the more Carrie the better! Carrie came in wearing her black silk 1-piece shorts outfit and black heels, and looking stunning as well!

    The line moved pretty quickly as the radio station winners and such did not interact with Carrie very much but us fan club members always like to actually talk to Carrie, haha! Then came my turn!

    Carrie; Hi, how are you? Me: Great, I am really looking forward to the concert Carrie: Yeah I'm still trying to get used to everything, haha She kinda gave me a look like, hmm what's in the bag? It was so cute,the look that is, I gave her the gift and she said thank you. Carrie: I love your shoes! Me: thank you, they're sketchers Carrie; Oh I guess that's why I like them so much(laughs) Me: (hands her a letter and guitar strap) This is to be auctioned at an American Cancer Society benefit on Oct. 11th, I'll be singing there too, the letter is from ACS explaining everything(she signs the guitar strap) She said she would read the letter later. Carrie: Anything else you want me to sign? I hand her the photo, she signs it and then sees that I have the CR album cover and signs that as well! Me:Thank you so much Carrie! Then we posed for the picture and I said: It was so great meeting you Carrie She said you too! And then that was it, she was sooo sweet and I look forward to meeting her again someday very soon! Thank you Carrie and Thank you fanclub. Below are pictures of the shoes, my m&g picture, and the autographs! I had such a great time! Concert review will come later with some videos!

    I forgot to mention what my gift was (Hot Chocolate Bean Candle from Hallmark, A little sheep toy(so cute) and a chew toy for Ace)

    Carol, I'm so glad I got to see you at the concert! It was so great to talk to you again and hear all about your meet and great! I'm so happy for you! And just a little jealous :) Wish you were able to go to the Nashville concert, but hopefully we will see each other some other time!
