  Hello out there, Since I've decided to shut myself in my room for the rest of the night (due to me being so grumpy earlier lol) I figured I would blog. So I know the ACM's are coming up in April and 2 of my girl friends and I have decided to go!! I'm soo excited. We tried (really tried) to get tickets to the award show ( I even had the presale code) but as soon as it went on sale, I could not find any tickets. Literally, non would come up and then Bam! they were sold out. I was so mad. But thank goodness for the very 1st FAN JAM. I ended up getting floor tickets to that. All I know so far is that Sugarland is headlining it and they will have 3 concerts performed for the award show broadcasted from there. How Cool! Plus there are prizes and such too. :) I cannot wait.

  And I need to check out Freemont street for the concerts too. I hope I can squeeze it all in. It's my bday weekend (26-eeeek) so we'll have to hit up the club one night. I'm sure I can convince my friends to go after the concerts on freemont.

  Anywho...I wonder if anyone else is going to be there? That'd be cool.

  Okay, soooo I totally meant to upload some pics or a little review from my TWO Carrie concerts on Dec 18 & 19 (Thanks a lot MI for taking the last tour date grr hehe) They were soo amazing!! I ended up having rows 6 & 5 for the 2 and was soo close, I couldn't believe myself. Like we all know...she was sick but sounded AMAZING even with a few raspy parts and a few songs cut out. True Talent there!! There were a few funny parts and other's that I forget exactly what happened (I have an old lady brain, even at age 25 ha) but one of my fav's was when she was in the truck above the crowd during the 19th show and said "they asked me how I felt about hights and I said I was terrified of them (that's why I wear no bigger than 3" heals) and somehow here I am in 5" heals hanging above you guys in a blue truck" <-- so stinkin cute and funny. She was gorgeous like always and my friend (who I dragged along) even was like.."wow she is soooo pretty" Yeayy!!

  Anyway I don't have much time for anything else....it's NEW YEARS EVE!! Happy New Years to you all and have a safe night. I'm off to my bff's house party....who knows what I'll do.. • Meeting Miranda Lambert/Calgary Stampede :)

  It's been a really long time since I've blogged. Life has definately gotten a lot crazier over the past year. But I'm soo happ for Carrie and Mike getting married!! Cannot wait to see the pics. I bet she looked beautiful and Mike, handsome of course!! :)

  So it's Stampede week here in Calgary, Canada. It's soo much fun. Everything goes country for 1 days. The city is filled with people dressed up with plaid shirts, cowboy boots and hats etc. and country music is playing everywhere you go. :) I haven't made it down to the stampede grounds yet but I have done some other Stampede stuff around the city....like went to the new country bar (Stockyards Saloon) and went on a Stampede pubcraw. I joined late( right before the 4th/last bar) but it was a sweet time. I've never partied at bars with 5 hours of light left outside lol Anyway, next weekend I"m hitting up the stampede grounds/concerts. I'm going to Miranda Lambert/Jason Aldean and guess who I get to meet.....MIRANDA LAMBERT!!! I"m soo excited but I have no clue what I am going to say to her or talk to her about. lol Any suggestions? I'm also going to be seeing Dean Brody and One More Girl on fri night and MARTINA MCBRIDE sunday night(the last night) and its FREE outdoor concert!! It's going to rock!!

  Y'all should come to Stampede some year. I'm pretty sure Carrie will play there one year!! A lot of Big Country artists do!! :)

  First of all I want to say is...... It doesn't matter if Carrie didn't win anything tonight....Heck, she was the Host...not everyone gets to be the host. The show couldn't go on without her. And let's just say Carrie is going to RULE next year's cma's....with a brand new album, and lots of other things going on...she's on Fire!! And that monologue...Love it..it was hilarious!!

  So anyway...I was just bored and felt like bloggin. I've been busy with school (ok who am I kidding...I don't study that much), and work (well I just asked for more hours :S) But I finally picked up my guitar again and I AM(convincing myself here) going to practice everyday so I can get better and learn songs faster. Right now I decided I am going to learn(well I sort of already did a bit) 'save a life' by The Fray (I love them) It's super easy. I feel like each song I learn has the same chords and rhythm.....which just makes it easier for me. woo hoo. Oh and I got new strings (reminds me of that Miranda Lambert song) put on and now I have the extra pieces that desperately need to be cut off...it just looks funny.

  ugh well this was just a pointless blog..I'm cutting myself off. I've been hanging out with too many babies and little kids lately...just needed a little socializing even if it is just me typing and you reading...if you do indeed read this nonsense. ta ta for now
