I am a small town girl with a big, compassionate heart. I enjoy traveling around the world, attending country concerts, spur of the moment road trips, Cardinal baseball, shopping, spending time with my friends and boyfriend, scrapbooking, watching movies, romantic dinners, and walking on the beach/by the lake at sunset. I love the beautiful bright colors of Spring and the changing of leaves in the Fall. I have a newfound love for cooking, especially desserts, now that I have my own kitchen. I have a HUGE heart for Country music because the lyrics can be so touching. Carrie Underwood is by far my favorite and then Martina McBride, both of which can compose very inspirational lyrics.

I love photography and picture editing because there’s no better way to store a memory than through the flash of a camera. I recently made a scrapbook for Carrie for her oustanding 2010 year and I enjoyed every minute of it with all the pictures and articles I had around me.

My family is probably the most important thing to me, along with my friends. I have realized that these people are very special to me and will love me unconditionally and because of that, I am willing to do anything for any of them. Through the years, I have come to realize that being close to family is probably one of the greatest gifts God has given to me. Taking part in every memory with them is what matters most in life and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I couldn’t imagine not having the ability to see my nieces grow up or not spending time with my family, especially during holidays or special events. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful family and friends whom mean the world to me. I also have 4 precious nieces that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

I try not to take things for granted because I have learned that one day those things or people will be taken away too soon. As I get older, I am slowly beginning to realize that a lifetime truly is a short time so live each day to the fullest, love the ones who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t, and never skip out on time with ones you love.
