• Mother's Day

  Carrie Fans,

  Well today was seriously an amazing Mother's Day for my mother and my grandmother. We went to mass, out to lunch, and then to my grandmother's house. There I sang and played (on guitar) a song that I had written for my mom, she completly lost it crying, but she loved it. Here are the lyrics and the chords:

• My Review - Carrie/Keith Concert In Raleigh, NC!!!!

  Review From Raleigh, North Carolina

  Well 5/19/08 was probably the best night of my life! My best friend, Jovanna (jovannaokitty), who I had introduced to Carrie and Country Music soon after meeting her back in 06’, went to the concert with me. We both had the best night of our lives, seriously, we’re not just saying that! Well any way, Jovanna came over at 11:00 Saturday morning and we hung out around my house until 5:55 that afternoon when we set out for the RBC Center, which is about 20 minutes from my house. My parents drove us there and there was a lot of traffic which was surprising considering that the concert started at 7:30, but we were playing “Carnival Ride”, so it was all good. As we drove through the parking lot, which was really crowded, I thought it was crazy how many people there were tailgating. And every single one of them had Bojangles, haha, just throwing that out there. Well then my parents drop us off at the RBC Center right in front of Keith’s tour bus. There were some people taking pictures of it and Jovanna wanted me to take a picture of her and his tour bus. Jovanna bought a shirt, a key chain, and a picture. I bought the big Carrie Poster and the Carnival Ride Tour Book. Right when we walked in from the top we took a couple pictures of the arena. When I saw that place, it made me think of the very first time I saw Carrie on tv at her first audition for American Idol, and I thought, I helped her get here. It was an incredible feeling. [IMG]http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r147/CUFan7/Carrie%20and%20Keith%20Concert/100_4878.jpg[/IMG] Well we went all the way down to the floor where our seats were and man am I thankful for the pre-sale! Now they weren’t front row or anything but they were way closer than I’ve ever been during a concert or anything. Hey, being 15 feet away from Carrie is amazing on its own! After finding our seats we still had quite some time until it started, so we went back up the many stairs to get a bite to eat. Although I was to excited to eat, I did split a soft pretzel filled with cheese inside with Jovanna. Sounds weird, but it was good. We also got a Diet Pepsi. Then we went back down to our seats to eat, drink, and relax before the concert. Soon after this couple who were really nice and both really big Keith fans came down to their seats which were next to ours. The man accidentally kicked over my drink, haha, it was funny. Her seat was front row of the non-floor section but away from the stage above us, if that made any sense at all. So us three hung out for a little while. As the arena was getting pretty full, she went back to her seat, and it was only us again, and the lights went down, and the countdown began. Well after this performance I believe Carrie went into “Wasted” and then rocked out on the electric guitar on “Get Out Of This Town”. Then I don’t really remember the rest of the order, but for me the standouts from Carrie were: “I Know You Won’t” – Best vocal of the night! (Put It Up On Youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=0a8IiaLP6iU ) “I Ain’t In Checotah Anymore” – Loved the Video! “So Small” – She hits all those notes perfectly and I thought the ending was really awesome! “Before He Cheats” – Crowd loved it! Now I hadn’t seen Carrie since back in 2005 on her Greensboro, NC stop on the Idols Live! 2005 Tour, so I had been really excited to go to a real Carrie concert, and I gotta say it was just overwhelming. I kept wondering how that voice comes out such a small person, her vocals are just insane! And as far as entertainment goes, I know this is really biased and all, but I had a blast! But then again, the crowd (especially those on the floor) seemed to be really enjoying themselves and the crowd really sang along to “Before He Cheats”! Oh, and don’t forget “Paradise City”, wow, Carrie’s a rocker at heart!
