  ROCKING THE WORLD OUTSIDE COUNTRY BOUNDARIES

  September arrived with a lot of expectations for us fans. She was set to perform on “Fashion Rocks”, and she did amazing, rocking out “Go Your Own Way” side by side with Lindsey Buckinham. Definitely this girl can do it all, and do it great!!! Electric guitar on hand and all… she was really amazing!!! She could easily take any genre of music and make it her own, and that my friends, is pure and simple TALENT!!!!

  Of course she was fabulous at the red carpet, wearing a white dress that made her look like a princess. And keeping the fashion in mind, she attended some shows during Fashion Week in NY, and in every appearance she looked flawless! Hey… Is not just me, there was reporter from the Sun Sentinel that says, and I quote: “…But then Miss Carrie Underwood came in and that was all over. Even I ran over to see her. You will understand her flawlessness when I tell you this: she wore horizontal stripes to a fashion show and managed to look superb. That girl is an original.” How about that? Not only she conquered, first our hearts, then the country music industry, but now our jeans and t-shirt girl, also conquered the fashion world, because she definitely knows where and when to wear what, always appropriate.

  And don’t forget a new little detail about “So Small”, yes another record!!! The song entered Billboard’s Hot Digital Sons Chart at #6, becoming the highest debut position and greatest first week sales of any country airplay single in the history of digital Chart, toping herself in this category as she beats her rendition of “I’ll Stan By You”.

  Thank God for those moments, otherwise the waiting for the “So Small” video and “Carnival Ride” will be unbearable. The video been finally confirmed to debit on CMT Top 20 Countdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  WARMING UP FOR A “CARNIVAL RIDE”

  The title for the new album was confirmed as “Carnival Ride”, which according to Carrie’s owns words reflect very good was her life has been for the last 2 and a half years… for me is a wonderful title!, and the cover is absolutely beautiful, she (as expected) looks amazing!

  The record breaking first single, “So Small” keeps its wonderful run towards # 1, topping iTunes Country Charts in only one week after its release, and positioning at # 3 on the overall chart… and a video is on its way to be release mid-September, and according to Carrie herself is going to be GREAT!!!

  In the award department she received 3 nominations for the 2007 CMA’s: Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year and Video of the Year, and “Before He Cheats” earned a nod for the songwriters, so we are getting ready for another wonderful night at the 2007 CMA’s. Exciting as always!!!!!!!!!!

  And as if that news weren’t enough we got something more. As part of the wonderful Carnival Ride we are ready to jump in, there will be more music from her not related to the new album. During these days we got information that Carrie will be singing “Ever After”, a song for Disney’s new movie “Enchanted”… and is huge!!!!! The movie was set to be in theaters in November. And as part of this new adventure for her, she shoots a video for this song. That means we will be seeing Carrie in two different videos shortly, is that great news or what??? Also, Carrie will be feature on a Country Christmas album compilation which will be out on October. That the way I love it, Carrie everywhere!!!!!!!

  HISTORY IN THE MAKING: WHEN “SO SMALL” BECOMES SO BIG

  Between a concert hear and there, and a quiet period, we got some great news: She was featured on a song in Brad Paisley’s new album, the name “Oh Love”. And what a beautiful song, and those two sound phenomenal together. So, of course since we didn’t get any new material from Carrie, except “I’ll Stan By You”, we were thrilled to have something new to hear, and hear and hear!, Love that song, I’m sure it will be a single sometime in the future, and by then it will be a hit!

  Then by mid July, she let us know that her new album was going to be released on October 23rd!!!!!!!!! Finally the countdown to her second CD was on its way, and of course a new single very soon… how is that for good news. Specially, since this CD was set to have a lot of songs co-write by her… and I expect those to be great!

  Want more? Yeah?... Ok, no problem there is more to come. She was announced to be part in “Fashion Rocks” and event created to celebrate relationship between fashion and music. This show will air on September and she will be in the company of stars like Jennifer Lopez, Avril Lavigne, Usher, Fergie, Ludacris, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson.

  Gimme more, gimme more……. She was announce as the only country music nominee for Best New Artist at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards for her video "Before He Cheats.", which is a big deal, because is this award show country artist aren’t very popular, she is going everywhere!... These awards take place also in September, so finger cross, and voting a thousand times a day!!!!

  And it finally came, the debut of her first single of the soon to be release album: “So Small”. The song is really beautiful, and she co-wrote it!!! The more I hear it the more I like t, and I like it an awful lot the first time, go figure! This is going to be a #1 hit for sure. We went crazy over radio stations, requesting it, and apparently was really a crazy take over, because according to Nielsen BDS, the company that tracks radio airplay, Carrie's new single reached No. 20 on the Billboard country airplay chart, making it the highest-debuting single by a solo country female artist in its history, and also became the highest debut single by any country artist this year.
