    Carrie was amazing lastnight!!!! i had so much fun :-) i was soooo glad i got to go, because i didn't know i would be able to until the day before, so it was great!!!! she always has the coolest clothes!!! i loved all of the outfits for the show, now i gotta go find some copies that look like hers hahaa..so i pretty much had the setlist memorized, but it was still awesome! the setlist: flat on the floor some hearts wasted all american girl crazy dreams (we're young and beautiful instrumental) I know you won't Jesus take the wheel Home sweet home The more boys i meet Last name (she started busting up laughing and i had no idea why, but it was funny...then she told us ashley fell and he had just got done praying that he wouldn't fall) Don't forget to remember me i told you so so small just a dream get out of this town Paradise city Before he cheats She always puts on a great show!!!! i can't wait til the 3rd cd comes out and for the tour on that one!!!! every year she gets better and better. that's why she's our ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR!!!!! :-)

    I'm going to the concert in paso robles after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) i can't wait!!!!!! i'm so excited, i hope somehow i will be able to meet carrie again!!!! that would be absolutely amazing!!!! but if not it's totally cool, cuz i've been able to meet her 2x. i know it's going to be an awesome show!!!!!! full report when i get back!!!! :)

  • CMA FEST 2009!!!!

    Soooo..i realized i still hadn't blogged since like before school got out!! so i thought i'd talk about CMA fest...it was AMAZING!!!! i'm not gonna go too much in detail, but i went to the fanclub party and carrie was hilarious, she's so funny and she doesn't even know it lol....we went to the opry show and waited for her after the show, and saw her get into the bus...but that was it. we went to the softball game, which was SOOOO much fun!!!! i met chuck wicks (2x this trip actually because he was on our flight from La, which was awesome!!), Jimmy Wayne, darius rucker, julianne hough, josh gracin, craig morgan, jake owen, and a bunch of others :-) then since we didn't get to meet carrie that day, we waited at the convention center from like 730 to 115 or so and FINALLY got like an official meet and greet type thing with carrie!!! it was soooooo cool. i asked her about mustard of all things haha, but i was really curious if she actually ate it on EVERYTHING...she just said the regular stuff lol but i had to ask. then i got a hug and a hugging picture, it was incredible. Definitely made my trip to nashville complete!!!!! i was sooo sad to leave, but i knew it had to happen. i'm trying to talk my dad into letting us go next year, and i'm pretty sure it'll happen :-) " Thank God even crazy dreams come true" :-)))))))))

    I AM COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TIL NASHVILLE!!!!!!!! i can't wait til i am done with school and summer will be here, although i do have summer school. I actually miss the first week, because we will be in Nashville, but it's totally worth it. I am soo excited for the fanclub party and seeing carrie like everywhere!!! it's going to be another trip to Nashville that i will never forget and i CANNOT WAIT!!!!! YAY!!!!!....just gotta get through a bunch of stuff first, like finals, projects, another talent show, and school....but i know JUNE 8 will be here before i know it!!!!! YAY!!! :-) it's going to be amazing!!! love love love, shelby

    I know it has been awhile! I've been good! I've mostly been going horseback riding and hanging out with my best friend! Spending time with my cousin and some little stuff here and there. You know the basics like cleaning the house and blah blah blah. lol I'm glad that you have been getting on here more because I like to talk to you! How have you been and what have you been up to? :)

    I know! It's been a long time since I was on here. School just got crazy out of nowhere again, haha. Congratulations on your grad...oh I guess it's tomorrow! Wow! You're probably sick of this question, but what are your plans for after high school? The comment below mine says you're singing DFTRM?! That's awesome, I'm sure you'll be great! 11 more days of class and then I write exams, then summer!! Then I'll be in grade 12...crazy. Have a great graduation!! :)

    YES!! I'm so excited to be going back to the party!! I'm going to the softball game, the CMT awards and the first night of CMA Fest. It's going to be pretty much AMAZING!!
