    Wow it's been a long time since I have blogged! Anyways, I went to see Carrie on Monday night with my sister and mom. It was AMAZING!! We were down on the floor so our seats were really good! I had never had seats like that. Sons of Sylvia and Billly were really good too! I really like some of SOS's songs, might have to go look into getting some.

    I can't believe it is my senior year of college! I have no idea where the time went, or what to do next. Right now I'm doing my student teaching internship and I really love it. I have been really lucky with both my placement and supervising teacher. It is so much fun and I'm learning a lot! Next semester I do the full internship where I'm there everyday Mon-Fri, I'm nervous! After that I graduate in May which is a very scary thought! I want to still be a kid. hah. I have to get started on deciding if I want to keep in school and go to grad school or if I want to start teaching...so many big decisions.

  • Best Weekend Ever!

    So this weekend was so much fun! My dad had my brother, my sister and her husband fly in for a surprise for my mom's 50th birthday!! They both flew in on Friday night, but Kristen's flight was delayed so they didn't get in till like midnight. Then we all crammed into my car and drove home. The ride home was a lot of fun because we all hadn't been together in a long time. It was a tight car ride home since it was me, Cailin, Zack, Kristen and Brian all in the little sentra. It was really fun though. As soon as we started to drive Brian says "I feel like Im in college again". When we got home my little brother Ryan was waiting in the driveway for us. He couldnt handle waiting any longer haha. We decided we would ring the door bell instead of waiting till morning to surprise her! I still cant believe how long it took them to come to the door. 3 rings!! So my other brother comes to the door and then goes to my parents room and tells my mom to come to the door. She was soo confused and still half asleep because it was like 1am. At first she doesn't get it but when she sees Zack she is sooooo surprised. She couldnt believe he could get to come home! So we all stayed up late that night hanging out and talking. So much fun!!

    On saturday we all went to the beach. Beach family trips are the best EVER! ha After the beach we came home and chilled then went out to dinner. Dinner was really nice. We went to this place on the river, it was really pretty. We stopped for ice cream on the way home which was another adventure. The place served "pup-cups" which was for dogs only. I had never heard of that before and I told Zack and he thought I was crazy. It was funny!

    Sunday we went to church and relaxed. It was such a good weekend being able to have the whole family together again! And then to top it all of Carrie won entertainer of the year!!!! Overall basically the best weekend ever! I hope the week goes just as well. Last week of class!!!!!

    Hey everyone! Happy Easter!! I hope everyone had a good day/weekend. I went home and it was a lot of fun. On friday night my mom, dad, younger brother and I all played rockband! It was pretty funny. None of us are really that musical so it was a toss up who got to sing, my mom was the one that ended up singing. It was pretty funny! We bought Carrie's new song which was a lot fun!! Then on Saturday my older sister and her fiance came over and we went to the beach and hung out. On Sunday we went to church, found our Easter baskets, and ate wayyy to much food :) So much candy and food all together. I feel like I could explode. All together it was a fun weekend! I hope everyone had a good time too! Im gonna go get started on some homework now. Have a good week!

    Hello!! So today in physical therapy for my knee they tested me on the bio-dex machine to see how far along I have come since surgery. It went pretty well but it kinda hurt. I am still 40% weaker on my surgery leg but he said that is right on track for being 2 months out so I guess its good. I just wish rehab would go faster. I keep getting these urges to go on a run, but I'm not able to! I hope I still get the urge when I am able to run.

    Both my roommates are gone this weekend. They left today to go to Texas for their first race with rowing. It will be weird being all by myself. I'll get to practice my guitar some more!! So far I have only learned how to play Easton Corbin's Im a little more country than that. I keep getting like add and switching which song to learn!! It's harder than I thought it was gonna be.

    One more thing! I volunteer in a 4th grade class and they are having like a biography fair, where they had to read a biography on someone and then they are going to present about their person and they have to dress up like them too. The teacher is gonna dress up as someone and she wants me to dress up to! Anyone got any ideas on who to dress up as?!? There has to be a book written on them.

    Hey! You commented on my thread that you live in Oviedo too! That's awesome! I live like a mile from UCF! I see you went to the Carnival Ride concert at UCF in 2008! I was there too! Nice to meet you!

    Hi :) Your very welcome & thanks for requesting me! Yes we did get ALOOOT of snow here in Northeast Ohio & i hear we have another advisory in effect for Monday/Tuesday :( I don't think i've ever seen soo much snow! It was & still is a mess! Where are you from?

    Hey there! My knee is holding up awesome. I wear a brace when i play basketball and it is feelin realy good. Im happy about that. so today was your surgery. I hope it went very well!! What was wrong with your knee again? was it the ACL? ummm well i completely tore my ACL and i also had some damage to the miniscus on both sides of it. So i couldn't like bend it or straighten it all the way. It hurt pretty bad before the surgery, so i guess you could say i felt i needed it done. I hope you are doing well!!

    Oh wow,good luck with! Will keep you in my prayers!!! I dont play spirts but i enjoy watching it and occationally playing it with some friends--nothing too competitive! I love going out and doing things,weather it be shopping,movies,walking around town ect!

    Hahahahaha lol believe it or not but we live pretty much the same way as you in the US do...we go to the beach,movies,ice skating,bowling,go karting um...SHOPPING =) normal things....i love hiking! Bonus of living in cape town is the great hiking trails! Most beautiful views EVER! I think people are surprised when they come to S.A and see that we dont live with the lions,monkeys ect lol...so what can you tell me bwt urslf?

    That sounds so awesome that you got to see so much while growing up! Ive lived here my whole life! I love it here =) the suburb i live in is also like a lil town,1 highschool,2 primary schools...all that sorta things...

    Hi,im Lauren! Im also sorta new on here! Its great in here,right? My pleasure,thanks for the request...its great living in South Africa,people always seem to have the wrong ideas about S.A lol its expected though...there is a lot of poverty like Carrie showed on her "ill stand by you" music video but theres also a lot of normalty like KFC ect...Cape Town is stunning though,i havent been to JHB! So where you from?
