I am a HUGE Carrie Underwood fan. Carrie and I share a birthday!!! woohoo!!! I met her on August 20, 2006 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. I spent 8 hours standing in line to be closest to the stage on the track for the concert and then had to persuade a cop for an hour to let me back into the grandstand to talk to her after the show when she was signing autographs. I was burnt to a crisp but it was worth it! I also talked with Carrie on April 22, 2008 about the Green Bay Packers, vet school, and working at a multipurpose vet clinic. She is a sweetheart! I ride and show Appaloosa horses. I have previously worked at a veterinary clinic and at a standardbred horse farm in central IL. I was accepted into the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine!!! I am now a third year student at U of I and studying my butt off! I really want to become a veterinarian to work with small animals, equines, and possibly exotics. I am also a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre as well as Kasey Kahne, the new Bud man. I just got to see Carrie again on October 2nd, 2008 at Assembly Hall in Champaign, IL. and had a super fantabulous meet and greet with the Carebear. My mom came with me and was moved to tears when Carrie sang "I Know You Won't." The concert was incredible and it was awesome when Carrie found us in the crowd and waved! We had a wonderful time and Carrie is the sweetest! :-) This past June (2009), I got the chance to go to Nashville for Carrie's FC party and got to meet her again at the Convention Center as well as see her at the Opry twice thanks to some awesome friends! <3 you guys! Carrie, thanks for being my inspiration. :-) Peoria and Indy 2010!
