I've adored Carrie ever since I saw her audition footage in January 2005! She was amazing! I looked at my husband and said, "I like her! I hope that she does well!" Each night of the competition, we sent in so many text messages and calls from both cell phones and our home phone! We were both so excited when she won...I even cried when I saw that she was crying!
About me personally....I have been married for 14 years....have two pets, our 6 year-old cat, Gracie, and our 4 year old mini Schnauzer, Kaylee. No children of our own, but I would LOVE to be a mommy someday! Please pray for this too! ;)
I teach 4th grade girls at church on Wednesday nights. They love to pray for Carrie each week and look forward to hearing the latest "Carrie news". My husband and I love to spend time with our family and friends. We love to listen to a variety of music... classic rock & roll, contemporary Christian, and of course...Carrie Underwood! I am a college football junkie! I love watching the LSU Tigers! Geaux Tigers!
In 2008, I FINALLY had the opportunity to see Carrie in concert five times, in Bossier City, Little Rock, Tulsa, Nashville, & Chattanooga. I was blessed to be at the Opry on March 15th when she received her surprise Opry member invitation from Randy Travis! I was also at the Opry Member induction on May 10th!
I love to enjoy a "Carrie-filled" week in Nashville in June! I love being a part of the fan club party, seeing Carrie's incredible performances at the Opry, at watching her show her "sporty and silly" side at the City of Hope celebrity softball game!
I am enjoying my membership in Carrie's fan club! I have meet some of really great fans and have formed friendships that I know will last for years to come!
