    One day of the year, peace comes to the earth; we celebrate our savior, Mary's virgin birth. He paid for our sins, on the cross he did fall, then rose from the grave, and gave hope to us all. We celebrate his day, with family and kin, we ask him to bring us into his light, and free us from our sin. We search for its meaning, which we often forget; it celebrates Christ, the day he paid our debt. We sit around the tree, give loved ones their prize, and it lifts up your soul, to see the look in their eyes. It's a time to be grateful, and thank God we're alive, a time children find it hard to sleep, awaiting Santa to arrive. The night before anticipation is high, it's Christmas Eve, the time is almost nigh. You head off to bed, and try hard to sleep, you pray the lord, your soul will keep. You feel his presence, as you kneel down to pray, you have so much to thank him for, no words can say. You close your eyes and drift away, soon will dawn, the year’s most special day. You dream of the wonders, what surely wait, when good conquers evil and love conquers hate. The next morning you awake, and leap out of bed, what presents has left, the man dressed in red. The presents are everywhere, no one he will forget, there's plenty for all, even the pet. One by one, they're opened with joy, the children rejoice, at the sight of that special toy. As the events subside, and all is said and done, you gather all together, a family as one. Though many gifts have been received, it really can't compare, its family that matters, it's about all you care. You reflect on the day, and all of its delight, you kneel down to pray, it only seems right. I'd wear rags on my back and walk with bare feet; I'd sleep in the cold, and scraps I would eat. As long as I have my family, I'm the happiest man can be, thank you dear Jesus, for bringing them to me.

    Hi Chris. What have you been up to lately? Not much here...just trying to stay warm...it got up to a high of 12 degrees today! I think I am ready for spring; it has been a very cold winter and more snow than usual. What I wouldn't give to see a flower in bloom right now! I cannot complain though; I am very blessed that all I have to complain about is the cold weather...especially when I see the difficulties others are facing every day. I hope you are well and happy.
