Carrie Becomes the First Country Artist to Dial-Up Two Platinum Ringtones!

__“Jesus, Take the Wheel” Joins “Before He Cheats” as Her Second RIAA-Certified Platinum Mastertone__

Nashville, TN – Three-time GRAMMY winner and two-time, reigning ACM and CMA Female Vocalist winner Carrie Underwood is setting new milestones once again. Last year, she became only the second country artist in history to have a song RIAA certified as a Platinum Mastertone, recognizing sales of one million ringtones. Following that initial certification for her smash, “Before He Cheats,” Carrie now becomes the first country artist ever to have two songs achieve Platinum Mastertone status with the certification of her GRAMMY-winning “Jesus, Take the Wheel.”

Both songs are featured on Carrie’s 7x-Platinum debut album, Some Hearts, and are two of the hits that have made Underwood the only artist in country chart history to have their first seven singles all reach #1. Her three most recent chart-toppers – “So Small,” “All-American Girl,” and “Last Name” – were all co-written by Carrie and all featured on her Double-Platinum sophomore album, Carnival Ride. She’s currently climbing the charts with the disc’s fourth smash, the powerful ballad, “Just a Dream.”

Fans can tune-in to see the Grand Ole Opry’s newest cast member as this weekend GAC broadcasts an encore edition of Opry Live featuring Carrie performing songs from Carnival Ride. Opry Live airs on Saturday at 9 PM ET, with additional re-airings through the weekend.
