Congratulations, Carrie, on your SIX Academy of Country Music Awards nominations!!!

This morning the nominations for the ACM Awards were announced and Carrie received SIX nominations in the following categories:

Entertainer of the Year Top Female Vocalist Album of the Year – Play On Song of the Year for “Cowboy Casanova” (one nomination as songwriter, one as artist) Vocal Event of the Year for “I Told You So” with Randy Travis

For the second year in a row YOU, the fans, will be able to vote for Entertainer of the Year! Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year begins on Thursday, April 1 at VoteACM.com. Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year will close during the third hour of the LIVE broadcast.

The 2010 ACM Awards will broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 18 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on CBS.

    Congrats Carrie. You deserved them all and we will be working hard for our Entertainer of the Year! I also think Cowboy Casanova was the best video last year and definitely deserved a Video of the Year nomination but 6 noms is pretty darn impressive. The best of luck to you in all your categories.

    Congratulations Carrie on your 6 ACM nominations! What a way to start your tour! So glad the ACM recognizes not only your talent as a vocalist but as a songwriter and performer. You have it all! I will definitely be voting as soon as I can!

    WOW! I will be voting as much and as often as possible. Congratulations to Carrie for a job well done. I think she should win all she is nominated. She is my favorite. GO Carrie!
