Sesame Street Creates “Carrie Underworm” Character For Carrie Underwood

Nashville- (Feb 8, 2010) – Five-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood will appear on America’s longest running children’s television show, Sesame Street, as a specially created character known as “Carrie Underworm.” Underwood recorded the song, “The Worm Anthem,” specifically for the show.

The episode in which “Carrie Underworm” performs is currently slated to air February 11, March 17, April 8, and April 26 on PBS.

    Excellent job Carrie. I like the Carrie Underworm. Glad you are doing so much good for children. Some day when you have your own children you can show them all the good you have done for all children just like you would like good things for your own.
