Congratulations, Carrie, on your SIX Academy of Country Music Awards nominations!!!

This morning the nominations for the ACM Awards were announced and Carrie received SIX nominations in the following categories:

Entertainer of the Year
Top Female Vocalist
Album of the Year – Play On
Song of the Year for “Cowboy Casanova” (one nomination as songwriter, one as artist)
Vocal Event of the Year for “I Told You So” with Randy Travis

For the second year in a row YOU, the fans, will be able to vote for Entertainer of the Year! Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year begins on Thursday, April 1 at VoteACM.com. Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year will close during the third hour of the LIVE broadcast.

The 2010 ACM Awards will broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 18 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on CBS.
