Carrie Underwood and John Legend have released the official music video for their first duet, “Hallelujah,” which appears on Underwood’s first-ever Christmas album, My Gift.

On Thursday, December 3, HBO Max is spreading holiday cheer with the debut of Carrie’s new music special “My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood.” In the Max Original, Carrie performs a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the joy and hopefulness of the holiday, as well as new original material from her first-ever full-length Christmas album My Gift. On the special, she is accompanied by her band, as well as a live orchestra and choir, conducted by Carrie’s longtime friend, Emmy® Award-winning musical director Rickey Minor.

The special features many heartfelt moments and performances, including a duet with John Legend, singing “Hallelujah,” an original song he co-wrote with Toby Gad, which appears on My Gift. Viewers will also get an inside look behind the scenes of Underwood recording “Little Drummer Boy” with her five-year-old son Isaiah.

“My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood” will be available to stream starting Thursday, December 3 on HBO Max.

Starting today, Amazon Music listeners can hear Carrie’s new, original song titled “Favorite Time of Year,” which now appears as a bonus track on the Amazon Edition of  her new album, My Gift. To stream Carrie’s new song click here.

To spread holiday cheer even further, Carrie has teamed up with Amazon and its “Delivering Smiles” holiday campaign, to help fulfill the AmazonSmile Charity Lists for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. This is part of a larger Delivering Smiles holiday campaign recently announced, with Amazon donating millions of items through product and monetary donations to over one thousand charities worldwide.

In celebration of their flip to around-the-clock holiday music, iHeartMedia New York’s 106.7 LITE FM will host a “Holiday LITE Show Special” on litefm.com, beginning November 13 at 7 p.m. ET.

As part of the special, a holiday light show will sync to a medley of songs from Carrie’s first-ever Christmas album “My Gift” on the station’s website.

Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. and iHeartMedia today announced that the annual Empire State Building (ESB) holiday music-to-light show will feature Carrie’s new song “Hallelujah” with John Legend, from her first-ever Christmas album My Gift.

World-renowned lighting designer Marc Brickman choreographed the festive light show, which premieres on Saturday, December 19 and will be synced live each night at 8:00 p.m. through Friday, December 25 to a broadcast of the song on iHeartRadio’s Z100 and LiteFM. Viewers outside of the New York City area can tune in to watch the show live via Earthcam at https://www.esbnyc.com/earthcam-empire-state-building. A video of the entire show will also be posted on the Empire State Building’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/esbnyc) immediately following its debut on Saturday, December 19.

To celebrate its annual switch to festive music of the Christmas season across its stations nationwide, iHeartMedia today announced the new iHeartRadio Holiday Special, a virtual concert hosted by Mario Lopez. This 30-minute special event will feature Carrie Underwood performing songs from her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, and will broadcast across iHeartMedia’s AC, HOT AC and Classic Hits stations nationwide and on the iHeartRadio app, and video stream iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages on November 25 at 7pm local time. The event will also be available to watch in VR on the Venues app for Oculus Quest.
