Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. and iHeartMedia today announced that the annual Empire State Building (ESB) holiday music-to-light show will feature Carrie’s new song “Hallelujah” with John Legend, from her first-ever Christmas album My Gift.

World-renowned lighting designer Marc Brickman choreographed the festive light show, which premieres on Saturday, December 19 and will be synced live each night at 8:00 p.m. through Friday, December 25 to a broadcast of the song on iHeartRadio’s Z100 and LiteFM. Viewers outside of the New York City area can tune in to watch the show live via Earthcam at https://www.esbnyc.com/earthcam-empire-state-building. A video of the entire show will also be posted on the Empire State Building’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/esbnyc) immediately following its debut on Saturday, December 19.

To celebrate its annual switch to festive music of the Christmas season across its stations nationwide, iHeartMedia today announced the new iHeartRadio Holiday Special, a virtual concert hosted by Mario Lopez. This 30-minute special event will feature Carrie Underwood performing songs from her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, and will broadcast across iHeartMedia’s AC, HOT AC and Classic Hits stations nationwide and on the iHeartRadio app, and video stream iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages on November 25 at 7pm local time. The event will also be available to watch in VR on the Venues app for Oculus Quest.

This continues her reign as the most awarded artist in CMT history, now with 22 career wins in the entirely fan-voted awards show.

Carrie’s first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, debuts #1 on the Billboard Country, Christian and Holiday charts this week. My Gift marks the eighth straight album Carrie has debuted #1 on the Billboard Country chart. My Gift also debuted #1 on the UK country chart (her fifth #1 on the chart) and #1 on the Canadian country chart.

My Gift features a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the spiritual nature of the holiday, as well as several new originals. Two of the original songs are written by Carrie, frequent collaborator Brett James, and her Cry Pretty co-producer, David Garcia.  In addition to a very special appearance by Carrie’s 5-year-old son, Isaiah Fisher, on the holiday classic that inspired the album title, “Little Drummer Boy,” My Gift also features her first collaboration with Emmy, GRAMMY®, Oscar, and Tony Award-winner John Legend, on the original track, “Hallelujah,” written by John Legend and Toby Gad (“All of Me”).

It was recently announced that Carrie is also set to star in an all-new holiday special, which will be available exclusively on HBO Max. She will appear with a live orchestra and choir, performing a combination of beloved traditional favorites, as well as new original material from My Gift. The Max Original special will be executive produced by Gary Goetzman and Tom Hanks for Playtone, along with Carrie and her manager, Ann Edelblute. The streamer will premiere the event this holiday season.

How has Carrie motivated you to find your path and live the Fit52 Life? I am always in awe over the things Carrie accomplishes as a mother of two. It inspires me to persevere with the same mentality! I am a mother of two as well, and I can assure you the days are long, tiring and I’m not always feeling motivated. However, she has truly paved a path of clarity for me! Getting my family involved, like she does, has been awesome and a fun experience! Stay the path is an amazing slogan. You can truly have your path be customized to you and your own needs/desires. Thank you for being so motivational and inspiring Carrie!

What is your favorite part of Carrie’s new book, FIND YOUR PATH?
Honestly, my favorite part was getting to see so many new pictures we’ve never seen that give us a glimpse into her path, her family life, and her business life. I loved the recipe she shared for the “Nicecream!”

What advice do you have for other Care Bears that want to find their path?
Pave your OWN path! Make it a small goal that’s achievable to help motivate you. Then CRUSH that goal and keep going! Don’t lose hope or get discouraged when something doesn’t go as planned. Do this for you and no one else!
