Carrie Underwood Extends Spectacular Tour through Fall 2016
“I always love being on the road performing for my fans,” shares Underwood, “but something about this tour feels more magnetic than ever. Having a 360-degree view of the audience gives me the opportunity to connect with more fans and feed off their energy. I can’t wait to continue this tour into the fall!”

Concert review critics have applauded Underwood’s confidence and command over the massive stage that spans the entire length of the arena floor. The Washington Post claimed she’s “at the top of her game,” and the Hampton Daily Press said the show’s “presentation is overwhelming, from start to finish- a spectacular sensory overload that had the crowd roaring all night long.” Rollingstonecountry.com praised “the in-the-round setting provides each concertgoer with the best experience possible. Simpler still is the storytelling aspect of the show and country music’s reliance on conveying memorable stories in song.” The Boston Globe stated, Underwood “demonstrated that she now truly can stare unflinchingly into those lights and dominate a stage, with a confidence, defiance, and a sense of ownership that have been a treat to watch come to fruition. A rock-solid, deftly sequenced hour-and-45-minue long set, which moved from playful to solemn, smooth to twangy, and from cinematic scope to smaller, intimate moments. The most stunning part of the production however, remains Underwood’s voice, strong and nuanced.”

The North American tour, promoted by AEG Live, will include special guests Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers. Tickets will be available for The Storyteller Tour beginning Friday, April 8 at 10am local time at www.aeglive.com. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets for the U.S. shows before the general public beginning Monday, April 4th at noon local time through Thursday, April 7th at 10 p.m. local time. For information on fan club and D2C pre-sale opportunities and VIP packages go to www.carrieunderwood.fm.
Carrie will continue a donation of $1 from each ticket sold at the U.S. dates of The Storyteller Tour to be contributed to the C.A.T.S Foundation to help aid its causes including Checotah, Oklahoma’s education and literacy programs. Established in 2009, the C.A.T.S. Each of Carrie’s three previous headline arena tours, 2008’s Carnival Ride Tour, the Play On Tour in 2010, and 2012-2013’s Blown Away Tour played for over one million fans. When the Blown Away Tour wrapped in 2013, Carrie had performed 112 shows in 110 cities across three continents and six countries, including sold-out shows at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, and two nights at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia.
The tour is in promotion of Carrie’s new album, Storyteller, which was heralded by Rolling Stone as “the most anticipated country album of the year.” The album was produced by Jay Joyce, Mark Bright, and Zach Crowell with six of its 13 songs co-written by Carrie, including the #1 hits “Smoke Break” and “Heartbeat.”
Carrie Underwood To Debut New Single on Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday, April 3
Produced by Mark Bright and written by Zach Crowell, Brett James, and Hillary Lindsey, Carrie’s “Church Bells” ships to country radio on Friday, April 1 and officially impacts on Monday, April 11. Fans have been raving about the epic revenge song that Entertainment Weekly called a “twangy roof-raiser,” and ABC Newsdescribed as combining “some Americana-style banjo-play with a funky swagger.”
Underwood describes “Church Bells” as one of the most dynamic narratives on her Storyteller album. “I love songs about strong women. I love being sucked into that story: rooting for the woman and seeing that she does something powerful that she never thought she could do,” explains Underwood. “People are strongest when they’re pushed to their limits.”
This is the third single from her Gold-certified, fifth-studio album, Storyteller, which has yielded two back-to-back #1 singles, “Smoke Break” and “Heartbeat.” To date, Carrie has achieved 23 #1 singles, 13 of which she co-wrote. Storyteller is available for purchase at http://smarturl.it/custoryteller
Carrie is an eleven-time ACM Female Vocalist of the Year nominee and the first female artist to be twice named the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year. She is currently performing in sold out arenas across the U.S. and Canada on The Storyteller Tour- Stories in the Round. Underwood recently returned from Europe where she headlined five shows in five different countries as part of Country 2 Country (C2C).

In such event, Sponsor and its Agents reserve the right to (but are not required to) award the prizes at random from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment or cancellation. By entering, you: (a) agree to release the Sponsor and its Agents from all liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from your participation in the Random Drawing and the acceptance, possession and use/misuse of any prize; (b) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and its Agents; and (c) give your express permission to be contacted by Sponsor and its Agents by email, mail or phone. By submitting an entry, you further consent to the use of your name, address, image, voice, likeness, statements, biographical material, as well as any additional photographic images, video images, portraits, interviews or other materials relating to you and arising out of your participation in this Random Drawing (with or without using your name) in any media, whether now known or hereafter invented, throughout the world for any purpose whatsoever, without limitation, and without additional review, compensation, or approval from you or any other party (except if winner is a resident of Tennessee or where otherwise prohibited by law). If you are selected as a winner, prior to receiving the prize, you must agree to sign an affidavit to such effect, unless the winner is a resident of Tennessee or otherwise where prohibited by law. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes applicable to the acceptance and use of his/her prize. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The Random Drawing is governed by laws of the United States and all claims must be resolved in the United States. You further agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Random Drawing or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California or the appropriate California State Court located in San Francisco County, California. Should any of the provisions of the Official Random Drawing Rules be found to be invalid or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, that portion shall be deemed severed or restricted and the remainder of the Contest Rules shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of Sponsor and its Agents to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
10) RELEASE: You release, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Sponsor and its Agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against all claims (know and unknown), liabilities, injuries, death, loss and/or damages of any kind arising from your participation in the Random Drawing or the acceptance, possession or use or misuse of the prize.
