Carrie & A Tribute to Loretta Lynn
Nashville, TN – To honor Loretta Lynn’s 50th career anniversary, a diverse group of artists has contributed tracks for the November 9 album release of Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn. The artists personally chosen by Lynn include (in alphabetical order) Sheryl Crow, Steve Earle, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Allison Moorer, Paramore, Reba, Carrie Underwood, The White Stripes, Lucinda Williams, Gretchen Wilson, and Lee Ann Womack.
“I am so happy that these singers wanted to do this record,” says Loretta. “I love ‘em all, and it was so great to hear all the different ways they did my hits,” she said, referring to how each artist recorded with their own choice of producer and musicians. “I hope people like it as much as I do and we sell a bunch of records!!”

Carrie to Host 44th Annual CMA Awards on November 10th
“The CMAs are different from any other awards night,” said Brad. “You’re looking at a roomful of people who love each other. And any new viewer will be pleasantly surprised at what they relate to on the Awards and what they like that they had no idea they would like. For that reason alone, this is the most important night of the year for Country Music.”
“It’s all about Country Music,” said Underwood. “We all live here. This is our community. The CMA Awards are in Nashville, the home of Country Music. It’s great to come here and celebrate that every year.”
