TULSA, Oklahoma – (Nov. 19, 2018) – Seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer and Checotah-native Carrie Underwood was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame’s 91st class at the official ceremony on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center. Induction into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame is the state’s highest honor with 698 individuals that have been recognized since the first class in 1928. Underwood’s friend and fellow Oklahoma-born country artist Bryan White presented her with this honor. Others in the 91st class include Jon R. Stuart, Mo Anderson, Paul Allen, Charlie Christian, David Rainbolt, and Ree Drummond. This ceremony took place fresh off her 5th win for “Female Vocalist of the Year” at the CMA Awards, which Underwood co-hosted the night prior with Brad Paisley for the 11th consecutive year and performed her hit single “Love Wins.” Underwood released Cry Pretty, her first studio album on Capitol Records Nashville, on September 14. In Spring 2019, Carrie will launch The Cry Pretty Tour 360, which will kick off in May and will play 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada.

What is one thing that sets you apart from other Carrie Underwood fans? I don’t think anything sets me apart. I would do anything for Carrie and would do anything to meet her, but I think we all feel the same. Carrie’s fans support her in everything she does and just want her to be happy, and I love being a part of such a supporting group of fans.

Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: One of my favorite memories is from Nashville 2014 when I got to see her perform 4 times in 3 days. I went to her fan club party in the morning, then the same night I had tickets to an Opry show where she was the headliner. The next day I had tickets to the CMT Awards where I got to see her again. THEN, the following night at LP Field during CMA Fest she made a “surprise” appearance and sang with Miranda Lambert. That was probably the best week of my life and wish I could go back to a time where I saw her so much in one short period.

What is one thing that sets you apart from other Carrie Underwood fans? To be honest, I’m not sure. What I do know is that Carrie is a inspiration to me. She doesn’t know it, but she encouraged me to live a healthier lifestyle. Her music is phenomenal and she’s an incredible artist but it’s her sincerity that has secured my loyalty as a fan. She’s sincere to herself, her family, faith and her fans. In a world where there’s much uncertainty and people are easily swayed, it’s refreshing to see someone that rose to stardom and by all accounts has remained true to herself.

Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: The day I received an email announcing and confirming that I had won a meet & greet was a surreal experience. Flash forward to preparing to meet Carrie, I had a flood of thoughts I wanted to share with her. In the days leading up to meeting Carrie and then suddenly standing in line and being just a few feet from her, everything that I had wanted to share with her left my mind. I was so giddy with excitement, I swear something kidnapped my tongue and mind…all I could talk about was my love for Calia! Carrie told me she liked my sweater (it was Calia) and her trainer (Eve), Carrie, and I briefly spoke about how Dick’s doesn’t ship to Canada. Seriously?!?! That’s what I talked to Carrie about…geez! What I wanted to tell her but lost my nerve because I was fearful of crying was that I once weighed 300lbs and she has been an huge inspiration and example to me in taking better care of myself. Her self love and approach to life is infectious. If I ever get the chance to talk with Carrie again, I’d like to express my gratitude. So, until then, thank you, Carrie.

What is the farthest you have travelled for a Carrie Underwood show? Nashville so far! First time I’ve booked a flight to get to one of her shows but so worth it!

What is one thing that sets you apart from other Carrie Underwood fans? That’s hard to say cause Carrie has the best fans but I feel my dedication to go to her shows is my big deal! I’m so inspired by her music and literally get so lost in it and moved that it helps me through any bad day and lifts my spirits. I’ll go near and far just to listen to her live because there’s nothing like it. Her voice is so powerful you can’t help but be in awe and drawn in. It never gets old seeing her perform and as long as she she’s out touring I’ll always make it a point to be there for every tour.

Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: Getting invited to last years Fan Club Party was a dream come true and something I thought I’d never be able to do! But to actually get there and be a part of it and find out I was gonna get to meet her personally was so incredible!! I’d never been so nervous in my life when I stood beside her and she was so nice and everything I expected she would be! Such a genuine and class act. Proud to be a fan hers!

Or attending the Storyteller album release with 4 amazing girls in NYC and finding out we won tickets to see Carrie at the iHeartRadio concert shortly before showtime and meeting her afterwards.

Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: My favourite story with Carrie is the day I met her in Dublin, Ireland in March 2016. I’m so thankful to the fan club for making this possible. It was a moment I’ll never forget. Carrie was so sweet to me. ❤️

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer Carrie Underwood will be honored with the 2,646^th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. PDT. The star will be dedicated in the category of Recording at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of the historic Capitol Records Building.

“Fans of Carrie Underwood will be thrilled when they see their favorite performer accept her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. People from all over the world have been asking when she will be honored, and we are proud to say, the time is now,” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies. “We welcome everyone to Hollywood to cheer her on!”

Helping Emcee Leron Gubler, President & CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce unveil the star will be Simon Cowell, who was a judge when Underwood won the 4th season of American Idol, and Brad Paisley, with whom Underwood will co-host the CMA Awards for the 11^th consecutive year in November.
